Lodema R. Adams has been in the insurance business since 2002. She has specialized in the health insurance needs of large and small businesses and individuals. She draws on her personal experience of running a business and as a cancer survivor. Lodema is a specialist in the newly emerging area of health saving accounts (HSA) that makes insurance affordable to businesses and individuals.

Before entering the insurance business Lodema had 20 successful year career at Atlantic Electric Company (AEC). There she served as Secretary and Treasurer and managed the banking, accounting, Human Resources and insurance for this 20 million dollar company. She is a member of The Junior League of Charleston and a founding board member of The Susan G. Komen Foundation for Breast Cancer and the Race Chair in 1997. She is a past board member of Anchor Bank, Carolina First Bank Board, American Cancer Board, and MUSC’s Citizen Advisory Council. She is currently on the board of Progressive Hospital, LLC. She is also an active supporter of Ashley Hall School and the University of South Carolina. She is a graduate of Wando High School and Bauder College.

Crystal Adams is a licensed insurance agent who has worked for Adams Insurance Company, Inc. since August 2006. She focuses on health insurance and life insurance needs of small businesses and individuals. Over the last ten years, Crystal has worked in the business office at Atlantic Electric Company, LLC. This experience has given her valuable insights into the special needs of small businesses and developing a “customer first” attitude when dealing with clients. She is a graduate of Ashley Hall School and the University of South Carolina. Crystal’s interests include any outdoor sport that has to do with water, and she is a die-hard Gamecocks fan. She also enjoys spending time on the beach with her Golden Retriever Baloo.
